The Ultimate Fighting Championship’s latest pound-for-pound rankings are out and Jon Jones keeps hold of the top spot.
Jones, who returned from a two-year hiatus last December, recaptured the light heavyweight championship in his rematch against Alexander Gustafsson.
He has successfully defended his belt twice, beating Anthony Smith and Thiago Santos respectively.
With this solid run, the MMA great retains his spot on the updated pound-for-pound rankings released by the UFC on Tuesday afternoon.
Meanwhile, the promotion’s biggest draw, Conor McGregor, fell to 14th spot, down two places from his previous rank.
‘The Notorious’ from Ireland last fought in October 2018, where he lost to lightweight champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov by way of submission.
Completing the top five of the P4P rankings are Nurmagomedov, two-weight champs, Henry Cejudo and Amanda Nunes, and Stipe Miocic.
