Tyson Fury has posted an unseen photo of him weighing over 400lbs when he took time away from boxing to battle mental health issues.
The former heavyweight champion has always been open about his issues, and has now offered fans further insight into his journey with a newly released photo of him at his heaviest.
The photo is blurred, but you can identify Fury looking drastically overweight.
Taking to Instagram with the old picture, he wrote: “When someone says you can’t do something, look at this and remember anything is possible. This is me at over 400lb.”
Journey to Recovery
The ‘Gypsy King’ has never been one to shy away from speaking about his struggles with depression and substance abuse and often opens up about his journey to recovery.
Talking to talkSPORT in November, Fury opened up about the factors that caused him to spiral out of control.
He said: “There have always been two characters to Tyson Fury – there’s Tyson Fury, the man, and there’s the Gypsy King, the entertainer. It was two totally different people.”
“When I’m in the ring doing my stuff and entertaining, the Gypsy King comes out and he thrives, but while I’m at home doing day-to-day stuff and I’m just a normal person, a husband, a father, a son, then Tyson Fury, the man, is where I want to be.”
“Before I always used to wear a mask, always,”
“I used to put on an act, I was a performing monkey. That’s how it was for years.”
“Being a good boxer wasn’t enough, it’s never enough. If you’re a top boxer, but nobody’s interested in what you do, then it’s pointless.”
“To be a pay-per-view star, a crossover star, to make people want to watch and get big viewing figures, you have to act like a crazy man.”
“But now I’ve got to this level, I can just be me.”

An Inspiration
Fury is now an inspiration to many as he managed to picked himself up and battle his way to recovery.
The Brit took a two year hiatus from boxing and made drastic changes to his lifestyle which saw him lose more than 10 stone in just a year.
He made his comeback in a victory against Sefer Seferi in June 2018 and remains unbeaten in his professional career.
The Gypsy King now has his sights set on becoming world champion again, with a rematch against Deontay Wilder on February 22.
The two touched gloves a first time in December 2018 in a dramatic points draw.

Astonishing Comeback
Fury is already setting a brilliant example and his recovery is an inspiration to millions.
But should he come out on top against Wilder to become WBC champion, it would cap off what is surely one of the most astonishing comebacks in sporting history.
