An incredible promotional video featuring Mike Tyson has been released in the build-up to the blockbuster rematch between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder.
Wilder will defend his WBC heavyweight title against Tyson Fury on February 22 in Las Vegas.
And a brilliant new video featuring Mike Tyson has now been released to promote the highly-anticipated second clash.
Iron Mike introduces the video with his famous line: “Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.”
He then looks back on the pair’s first encounter alongside epic animations and cut scenes of the two heavyweight icons.
Watch the epic promo below:
‘Baptised’
The first encounter saw Fury rise from the canvas miraculously in the 12th round after a devastating right hand from the Bronze Bomber seemed to knock him out cold.
As Tyson addresses in the video, Fury’s show of heart and determination changed the course of the two fighters careers and paved the way for the upcoming mega-fight.
“Wilder destroyed him, unleashing hell, the wrath of the devil in gloves,” Tyson continues.
“He baptised him.”
“But Fury’s no angel,”
“Angel’s don’t come back,”
“He had too much guts.”
“Fury’s resurrection changed the fate of two fighters forever.”
KO Kings
Tyson is considered one of the most powerful boxers in history.
He gained 44 of his 50 professional wins via knockout.
Wilder on the other hand has won via KO in 41 of his 42 victories.
And when asked whether he thought the unbeaten American compared to Tyson, the Gypsy King didn’t mince his words.
“Numbers don’t tell lies.”
“This man’s knockout ratio alone says that he is the greatest puncher in boxing history, in the heavyweight division.”
‘I’ll Eat Him Up’
But the Brit isn’t too worried by the threat his adversaries right hand carries, and says he’ll be looking for a knockout victory himself.
“I’m looking for the big right hand to nail Wilder,” Fury said (via Sky Sports).
“Goodnight, I’m looking for the knockout.”
“If I’m stupid enough to get hit by that stupid right hand then I deserve to get knocked out,” he said.
“He knows he’s not messing with a quitter.”
“To beat Tyson Fury you have to nail him to the canvas and if he can’t do that, I’ll eat him up.”
Will Fury withstand the raw power of the Bronze Bomber, or will he hit the canvas again?
We’ll find out on February 22.
