Former UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz wants to assist Logan Paul on his transition from boxing to mixed martial arts.
The YouTube sensation said he might be starting a career in MMA, following his professional boxing debut against KSI at the Staples Center last month.
Fighting KSI for the second time, Paul settled for a controversial split decision loss but took home a whopping $900 000 fight purse.
Unfortunately, the boxing rematch between the two online stars reportedly did not do well in terms of pay-per-views.
According to a report from World Boxing News, the boxing fight recorded only 216,000 buys in the United Kingdom.
Still, the social media sensations was able to catch the attention of some of the biggest names in combat sports.
With Paul’s possible move to MMA now in the works, Ortiz said he is willing to help the former high school wrestling standout transition.

Right Way
Speaking to DAZN in a recent interview, Paul confirmed his next fight would be in the Octagon as he dismissed a potential trilogy bout with KSI.
“We were talking about MMA honestly,” the YouTube star stated.
“Boxing is cool, but I feel like my future is in MMA… I will be fighting a third time.”
“I don’t know if it will be against KSI. If I were KSI, I wouldn’t fight me again. That seems silly.”
“The circumstances really worked out for him that day. It just seems like it would be really dangerous for him.”
For his potential MMA debut, Paul might be working alongside the “Huntington Beach Bad Boy,” who has already praised the online star for his dedication in combat sports.
“When a young guy like that who happened just to have a bright mind and strong and wanna work hard, it’s good to see,” Ortiz told Little Giant Boxing.
“You wanna make sure you build guys the right way. When they’re young, they gotta be built the right way, they gotta do the right things so I couldn’t give an opponent. I wanna make sure how good he was in MMA in general.”
Great Deal
While some fans would not agree on Paul fighting in the cage, formerwelterweight champion, Tyron Woodley, believes he would be a good addition to the UFC roster.
“To be honest, when the UFC brought over CM Punk, I don’t know why they wouldn’t bring over Logan Paul,” Woodley told TMZ’s “The Hollywood Beatdown”.
“Logan Paul is the exact same demographic, 18 to 30 years old.”
“The exact YouTubers that are watching his stuff are the same ones that are watching the UFC. He has a huge following. Great deal.”
“He looks athletic, he’s a Division I wrestler, he’s insane, and he’s going to talk a lot of sh*t so the press conferences are going to be insane.”
“After this last event, I wouldn’t be surprised in the next two months we see some breaking news of Logan Paul getting a couple-fight deal with the UFC.”
