Mike Tyson Receives Huge Offer To Fight In Bare-Knuckle Boxing

Let the Mike Tyson sweepstakes begin!

After his terrifying pad work recently went viral online, a bare-knuckle boxing promotion is now looking to bring him into its lair.

Last week, the 53-year old heavyweight legend revealed he is currently training for a major boxing return as he sets his sights on competing in exhibition bouts to help the poor and the homeless.

“I want to go to the gym and get in shape to be able to box three or four-round exhibitions for some charities and stuff,” Tyson revealed.

“Some charity exhibitions, make some money, help some homeless and drug-affected mother-f—– like me.”

Days after announcing his future return, ‘Iron Mike’ stunned the boxing world with his recent training footage, where he showed he still has the ferocious power and speed despite not competing in the ring for over ten years.

An Honor

While ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ only plans to compete in non-professional fights, the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship has made the first attempt to sign the boxing legend, with the promotion offering him a whopping $20-million deal.

“While we did make a guaranteed offer of $20 million for Mike [Tyson] to fight for BKFC, we’re open to many different options as to how we can work together,” BKFC president David Feldman told Heavy.com.

“Obviously, the excitement of seeing Mike’s video showing himself training and desire to participate in exhibitions inspired us to reach out and make the offer.”

Feldman then told MMA Fighting it was Tyson’s viral training video that led the company to give him such huge offer.

“The excitement the whole world was getting from Mike’s training videos, led us to make him an offer. He’s a legend and it’s just a honor to be able to talk with his team.”

“We will see where things go from here, it will be an honor to work with Mike in any scenario.”

Trilogy Bout

‘Iron Mike’ is also being linked to a potential trilogy fight with former rival Evander Holyfield as the 57-year old also confirmed he is coming out of retirement to do charity bouts.

If given the right offer, ‘The Real Deal’ said he will not hesitate to fight Tyson for a third time.

Holyfield defeated Tyson in their first encounter in 1997 by way of technical knockout before ‘Iron Mike’ suffered a disqualification loss in their rematch known as ‘The Bite Fight.’
