What Mike Tyson Told Tyson Fury After Saying He’ll Get Knocked Out By ‘Prime Mike’

Mike Tyson gave Tyson Fury a piece advice after claiming he won’t last a round against a ‘Prime Mike’ in a fantasy fight.

Back in February 2018, ‘The Gypsy King’ responded to a fan on Twitter, who asked about his chances in a potential fight against the legendary boxer in his prime.

“You vs Mike Tyson in his prime. Who wins?” asked the fan.

To which Fury replied, “Mike KO1.”

As a response to Fury’s claim, the ‘baddest man on the planet’ told him: “Hey Tyson Fury, I heard you said I’d knock you out if we fought.”

“Hey man, you gotta have more confidence in yourself, anything can happen in a fight. you see Buster Douglas knocked me out so anything can happen.”

Meanwhile, in an Instagram post, the British star paid tribute to the legendary boxer, saying “This is the original bad man @miketyson he would smashed them all in his prime #baddestmanagerverliveth happy to carry his name.”

Nice Person

Fury is fresh off a sensational knockout of Deontay Wilder in their blockbuster rematch to capture the WBC heavyweight champion and deal the American the first loss of his career.

Following the victory, ‘Iron Mike’ was seen wildly celebrating with the crowd.

“I like them both as fighters,” Tyson said of the heavyweight pair prior to the rematch.

“They both came from nothing and achieved becoming heavyweight champion. You have to respect that. I was in their position one time.”

“In the first fight, I was hoping for Tyson Fury. I always pulled for him because he was named after me. That is the natural thing to do, right?”

“I was always biased toward him. He is very likeable. He is a nice person.”

Very Special

While ‘Iron Mike’ reminded Fury about self-confidence, he lauded Wilder for saying he’ll finish the boxing legend in a fight whether it is old or new school boxing.

“I don’t know whether I’d beat him,” Tyson said in a response to Wilder’s claim.

“I love the fact that he thinks that because that’s the way I would think as well.”

“He is supposed to think to think that way. He is the heavyweight champion of the world and that’s something very special.”
