Jorge Masvidal continues his hot streak after taking care of business in New York.
In one of the most hyped fights of 2019, Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal locked horns in the main event of UFC 244 at the Madison Square Garden.
Along with a $50 000 cash prize, the welterweight tussled for the one and done ‘baddest motherf***er’ title.
Masvidal, who went viral for his historic finish at UFC 239, is coming off a two-fight winning streak that showcased his knockout power.
Following a brutal knockout of Darren Till at UFC London, ‘Gamebred’ finished Ben Askren just five seconds into the opening round of their welterweight clash to boost his chances for title contention.
Masvidal claimed he is set to earn an eye popping salary for this fight, a reflection of his major feat from the Askren fight.
His opponent for the BMF belt, Nate Diaz, has returned from a three year fighting.
But showing no signs of rust, the native of Stockton, California dominated Anthony Pettis on his comeback fight.

Third Straight Win
What was expected to be a barnburner affair turned out to be a one sided fight as it was Masvidal who dominated the UFC 244 main event.
Picking up where he left off from his two last knockout wins, the Florida standout scored two knockdowns against Diaz before earning a doctor stoppage victory as his opponent sustained a cut above his eye.
It was Masvidal third straight win, which put him atop the title contention.
Masvidal could earn the next shot at the title to face the winner of the welterweight title clash between Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington.
