The Nevada State Athletic Comission has released its list of medical suspensions for fighters who saw actions at the recently-concluded UFC 248 pay-per-view event.
The promotion returned to the T-mobile Arena for its third PPV festivities of the year, which was headlined by an intriguing middleweight title fight featuring Israel Adesanya and Yoel Romero.
The main event, though, did not live up to expectations as the middleweight pair delivered lackluster performances, with fans calling it ‘the worst title fight in history.’
But the co-headlining act was a different story.
Strawweight stars Weili Zhang and Joanna Jedrzejczyk treated fans to a fight for the ages as they went back and forth in a thrilling five-round contest that will go down as one of the best fights ever in the UFC.
Both fighters were rushed to the hospital after the epic war but were discharged the following day with no significant injuries.
One of the greatest fights of all time.

Mandatory Timeouts
Jedrzejczyk earned the admiration of many as she showed the heart of a warrior after finishing the fight with a massive hematoma, which she sustained in the latter part of the second round.
Suprisingly, the Polish contender, who threw more than 400 punches in the strawweight title fight, received a minimal medical suspension from the state commission while it was Adesanya who was handed a potential lengthy layoff.
According to the report, the middleweight champion could sit out until September, pending further evaluation on both of his feet.
