Footage Of Kamaru Usman’s Training Has Fans Worried For Jorge Masvidal

Kamaru Usman left mixed martial arts stunned and worried for Jorge Masvidal after posting a clip of his insane training workout during the quarantine.

The reigning welterweight champion has been linked to a potential showdown with ‘Gamebred’ since their confrontation at the Super Bowl media day.

Following his thrilling fifth-round technical knockout of Colby Covington, Usman almost shared the cage with the ‘baddest motherf***er’ titlist at the now-canceled UFC 249 pay-per-view event.

If things go back to normal, the welterweight title clash is likely to take place this July during the International Fight Week.

Nothing is cast in stone yet but the ‘Nigerian Nightmare’ is wasting no time to be in his top shape for his next title-defence.

Taking to Twitter, Usman uploaded a video of his physical workout, which earned the praises of MMA fans.

“That is superior genetics with serious work. I’m exhausted watching you champ,” one fan wrote.

Another fan said: “Well done Champion. No pain No gain. Keep crushing them. The NIJA spirit. Rugged man. Never say die.”

Meanwhile, some are confident Usman will defeat Masvidal in a future fight.

“Making it hurt to always get the job done, naija no dey carry last @GamebredFighter, the Nigerian nightmare is coming for ya,” one Twitter user said.

“Usman is going to smash Masvidal, can’t wait to make a ton of bread on that fight, Masvidal literally has maybe a 6% chance and that’s being nice,” a fan added.

One fan told Usman: “I hope u send Journeyman Jorge into retirement. I’ve had enough of that annoying fraud.”

In a recent interview with ESPN, the African-Nigerian champion confirmed Masvidal will be his next challenger and vowed to add the ‘BMF’ king to his list of victims.

“We are at 100 percent,” he said.

“This is the guy. I’ve said it over and over again: Anything you say about me, to me, can and will be used against you, and he has just stepped over that line to where it’s 100 percent.”

“That’s the fight that I want. That’s the fight that makes sense. That is the next victim, and look at what they just pulled. I mean, look at the situation they just pulled.”

“You ran your mouth. You said you wanted to fight. All right. Let’s do it.”

“Then all of a sudden, oh, it wasn’t working out for you. It wasn’t working out for you, so you pulled out of the fight. So it sucks, but it is what it is.”

“He for sure has won a date with me. He’s got a golden ticket with his name on it. He’s won a date. That’s the next guy that I’m going to step inside that octagon and put my hands on.”
