Who is the most outstanding mixed martial artist of 2019?
Ultimate Fighting Championship stars Jorge Masvidal and Henry Cejudo have been on a heated Twitter exchange as they argued over who should be named the ‘Fighter Of The Year.’
Both fighters are front-runners for the said recognition as they earned massive wins this year that sent their stocks higher and made them big draws.
Masvidal, who competes in the welterweight division, ended the year with the ‘baddest motherf***er belt’ on his waist after defeating Nate Diaz in the main event of UFC 244 last November.
Aside from this, he became one of the most talked about fighters in 2019 after scoring the fastest knockout in the UFC history with a five-second finish of Ben Askren at UFC 239.
Meanwhile, Cejudo has joined the ranks of Conor McGregor, Daniel Cormier, and Amanda Nunes as the only fighters to hold two different belts simultaneously.
He defended his flyweight title against TJ Dillashaw in January before capturing the vacant bantamweight belt last June by beating Marlon Moraes.
Two days before the new year, ‘Gamebred’ and ‘Triple C’ discussed why one of them should take home the ‘Fighter Of The Year’ plum.

“Hold my pizza #1of1,” Masvidal responded.

With a solid three-fight winning streak, Masvidal is poise to earn the next shot to challenge Kamaru Usman for the welterweight title.
The Miami, Florida native is also looking for bigger fights along with bigger paychecks as he campaigns for a potential showdown with McGregor and a crossover bout with Canelo Alvarez.
As for Cejudo, he is not expected to return to action until early 2020 as he recovers from a shoulder injury.
Recently, the UFC stripped him of his flyweight title.
Who do you think deserves the Fighter Of The Year of recognition? Are you Team Masvidal or Team Cejudo?
