Dana White has given his verdict on Valentina Shevchenko’s victory against Katlyn Chookagian, and he was thoroughly impressed by the UFC Flyweight Champion.
Shevchenko dominated Chookagian before stopping her with a third round TKO to successfully defend her title for the third time.
‘Bullet’ remains undefeated in the flyweight division, and her performance against Chookagian had UFC president White excited.
White heaped praise on the Kyrgyzstani and referred to her as an ‘absolute gangster’ following her impressive win.
‘She’s So Awesome’
Speaking at the post-fight conference, White said: “She’s so awesome, she’s such a professional and such a good human being on top of it,”
“The end of the day, man, she’s a gangster.”
“That woman is an absolute gangster.”
“When you got a gun tattooed on your hip, you’re somebody not to be f***ed with, you know what I’m saying?”
“She looked so good tonight,”
“I look forward to seeing her next fight.”

Possibilities
Some fans have speculated that on dominating the flyweight division, Shevchenko might make the switch to another division, with talk of a trilogy fight with two-weight champion Amanda Nunes.
When asked about a potential division switch for Bullet, Nunes or strawweight champion Weili Zhang, White said he’d be happy to see them reign in their own divisions a little longer before any thoughts of a cross over.
“I think there’s a lot of things you can do with the three of them,” White said.
“I like the idea of them staying in their division right now and doing their thing.”
“We’ll see what happens in the future.”
With no intention of being on the sidelines for long, fans could see Bullet back in the Octagon very soon.
