A real estate agent is suing Ultimate Fighting Championship president Dana White for breach of contract in a money deal four years ago, as per initial report from Las Vegas Review Journal.
On Friday, Ernesto Joshua Ramos, a 42-year old trainer who served a 366-day prison sentence after pleading guilty to extortion charge in 2016, filed a lawsuit in Clark County District Court against White and UFC attorneys for breaking a non-disclosure agreement that would have granted Ramos $450 000.
Based on the lawsuit, “The actions of White were fraudulent, oppressive and designed to encourage Ramos to plead guilty so he could negotiate a substantial settlement, which would prevent the disclosure of his actions at trial for the personal benefit of White and his related businesses and interest.”
The Las Vegas resident revealed that UFC head honcho promised to pay him $450 000 in exchange of the guilty plea but reneged three months before the brand was sold to Endeavor in July 2016.

Attempt To Extort
Ramos’ lawyer, Ian Christopherson said: ”White and his attorneys succeeded in White being labeled a victim and having the FBI set up a sting/orchestrated payoff to Ramos for the tape.”
The UFC president quickly responded to the allegations, saying the lawsuit was just an attempt to extort him for a huge amount of money.
“I just found out that a bullsh*t lawsuit was filed against me yesterday,” White told the Las Vegas Review Journal.
“This guy went to federal prison for trying to extort me over five years ago. Now he’s hired a lawyer who is also a convicted felon, and he’s trying to extort me again for $10 million.”
“He got no money from me last time and he won’t be getting any money from me this time.”
“I look forward to the court dismissing this quickly so I can get rid of these scumbags forever.”

Show Must Go On
White is currently on a bid to put on the UFC 249 fight card set for April 18 despite the challenges brought by the coronavirus pandemic.
The fight card was originally slated to be headlined by a lightweight title bout between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson aka the ‘most anticipated fight in UFC history.
However, the UFC is now looking for a replacement as the defending 155-pound king will not be able to fly to the United States later this month due to travel restrictions in Russia.
Lightweight contender Justin Gaethje has reportedly agreed to step in as late replacement but ‘El Cucuy’ is still weighing other options.
The full line up for the pay-per-view event will be announced today.
