Conor McGregor has showed off his amazing body transformation ahead of his highly anticipated return to the Ultimate Fighting Championship cage.
Set for his MMA comeback, ‘The Notorious’ from Ireland will take on Donald Cerrone in the main event of UFC 246 in a battle between two fan-favourites and two of the best strikers in the competition.
Interestingly, McGregor will compete at 170 pounds, his first welterweight bout since his back-to-back fights with Nate Diaz in 2016.
The Irishman last fought in October 2018, where he suffered a fourth-round submission loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229.
McGregor has been busy preparing for his return fight as he aims to earn another shot at the lightweight title in a rematch with the Russian.
Taking to social media, McGregor flaunted his bulked-up physique less than three weeks before facing Cerrone and MMA fans have expressed concern he might lose to ‘Cowboy.’

No one can deny @TheNotoriousMMA is looking great, but I hope he's worked on his cardio and ground game. @Cowboycerrone has stamina for days, if anything will punish McGregor, it'll be his lack of gas tank. #ufc #mma #ConorMcGregor #donaldcerrone

You always had cardio problems going after 2nd round at 155 so with 15 extra pounds of muscles I don’t know how your body is going react I’m assuming your going to fatigue faster . Even against Floyd you tired out . We will see !

UFC president Dana White has told McGregor that winning against Cerrone would be crucial for his career.
“He has been training hard, he has been getting ready for this moment,” White told the Stephen A. Smith Show.
“I think he is at a point now where he realizes he needs to get his act together.”
“This win over ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone if he can pull it off is crucial in his career right now and his future.”
“So, he is taking it very serious, he wants to stay active. That is why this fight is at 170 and hopefully we will get three good fights from him this year.”
