Conor McGregor Aims To Become Billionaire By The Time He’s 35

Conor McGregor is aiming to become a billionaire by the time he turns thirty-five, the former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion has revealed.

The 31-year-old is set to make his UFC return on January 18 with a headline clash against Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone.

The fight will take place at UFC 246 at the T-Mobile Arena in Nevada, USA.

McGregor hasn’t stepped into the Octagon since his devastating defeat to Khabib Nurmagomedov in 2018, and has had a tumultuous past couple of years.

But the former champion is looking to get back to winning ways both in and out of the Octagon, and says he intends to be a billionaire by 2024.

 Billionaire

Speaking to ESPN’s Ariel Helwani, McGregor claimed that the idea of being a billionaire excites him, and says he has methods of achieving the feat within 4 years.

Speaking about his aspirations and his ranking on the rich-list, McGregor said: “I’ll be a billionaire by the time I’m thirty-five.”

“That’s my list,”

“I’m coming for that list.”

“It alternates by year, I’m not sure where I was this year,”

“Not bad…I was up there.”

“I saw the decade and Floyd was top of the decade so it’s fair play to him,”

“He’s just not so good with the management of it.”

“I’m still a good way away like, but I’ll get there,”

“I’ll get there, I’ve got the methods and it’s something that excites me.”

 ‘Nice Paycheck’

One of the income methods McGregor refers to is inevitably his primary profession.

When asked about the income he’ll recieve from his UFC 246 clash with Cowboy, McGregor predicted the biggest pay check of his MMA career to date.

“I’m confident it’s gonna be a nice paycheck,” McGregor said.

“Probably [the biggest] in my mixed martial arts career.”

“I’m estimating a good 80 million,”

“Because like I said we’ve got Australia and Canada and England and Ireland.”

“It should be a good one.”

“They think I’m toast but I’m still the bread.”

Back on Track

McGregor recently revealed a three-fight plan for 2020 as he looks to get his career back on track.

And should ‘Notorious’ dispatch Cerrone on January 18 he can look forward to two more hefty paychecks from the UFC.

One of the fights in the pipeline for McGregor is a rematch with Khabib.

The Dubliner recieved 50 million for the first clash, so can expect another large sum if the two meet again.

A headline clash with Justin Gaethje is also on the cards.
