Bryce Mitchell offered to beat up politicians for President Trump following his victory Saturday which saw him use one of the rarest moves in the UFC.
Presidential Offer
Following his first round submission win against Matt Sayles, the 25-year-old was quick to demand some new shorts from Reebok.
He said in the post-fight interview: “Reebok, you’re gonna have to kill me or make me some camo shorts ‘cause I ain’t shutting up ‘til then.”
The Arkansas-born fighter went on to address the President and offered to ‘whoop’ some politicians while he’s in the capital. He continued: “Donald Trump, I’m out here in DC.”
“If you need help whooping some politicians holler at me brother, I’ll do it for free.”

Performance of the Night
‘Thug Nasty’ recently etched his name into UFC history by becoming the second fighter to end a fight using the ‘Twister’ submission move.
Mitchell stopped Matt ‘Robo’ Sayles with the move in the first round of the featherweight match-up, earning himself a $50,000 ‘Performance of the Night’ bonus and extending his record to 12-0.
The first and last person to successfully use the Twister submission in the UFC was Chan Sung Jung, ‘The Korean Zombie’, who defeated Leonard Garcia with the move at UFC Fight Night 24 eight years ago.

The Most Painful Move In Fighting
Mitchell revealed after the fight that he regularly practices the submission, deemed the ‘most painful’ move in the UFC. He said: “It’s something I do in practice a lot,”
“I’ve seen Eddie Bravo doing it on YouTube and I practised it, practised it and practised it. I remember every step that he told me.”
“Me and my teammates are always practising it and it’s a good ground-and-pound stop too.”
“If you don’t want to go for the sub, you can just punish them, and they can’t do anything.”
“But I knew I didn’t have a lot of time left, so I just went straight to the submission.”
“It looks like it wouldn’t work but it’s a common move for me. I get it, not every time I grapple, but one two or three times a week.”
Entertaining and Unpredictable
The UFC is often entertaining and unpredictable, but a first round Twister, demand for new clothes and then an offer to be the President’s muscle might be up there.
It will be interesting to see whether the President responds in the coming days, and whether Thug Nasty gets those camo shorts he’s so desperately after.
