Amanda Nunes was just too much for Felicia Spencer and mixed martial arts fans weren’t surprised she would totally dominate the UFC 250 main event fight.
‘The Lioness’ returned to action on Saturday night as she marched on her first title-defence bid of the UFC women’s featherweight championship since winning it in December 2018.
Living up to expectations, Nunes put on a dominant performance to punch her way to an emphatic unanimous decision win, with the judges scoring 50-44, 50-44, 50-45.
“I’m not surprised, I know she’s very tough. I said in all my interviews, I know what she’s capable of. I studied her and know she’s tough,” the two-weight champ said afterwards.
“You know, I don’t know [who is next]. That was my goal, defending my two belts at the same time. I’m with the greats. I’m so happy right now. I don’t know what’s next. I’m very proud of myself and my team.”
