Nate Diaz is back in action this weekend at UFC 263, squaring off against Leon Edwards in a rare five-round non main event – the first time Diaz has competed under the promotion since his BMF title scrap with Jorge Masvidal in 2019.
The highly anticipated bout was initially scheduled for UFC 262 back in May, however Diaz picked up a slight injury while training and therefore had to reschedule it for June 13th – where he will share a stage with fan favourite Israel Adesanya; as the Stylebender goes toe to toe with Marvin Vettori who hunts his Middleweight strap. Deiveson Figueiredo will also attempt to defend his Bantamweight title, in a rematch against a highly regarded Brandon Moreno – who managed a draw with the champ in December last year.

Diaz has turned his cult following attained in the 5th season of the Ultimate Fighter into superstardom over the years, mainly due to his silver tongue and quick wit on the microphone in interviews and press conferences…after all there’s a reason why his fight against Conor McGregor at UFC 202 broke the UFC’s previous PPV record.
We thought as he’s fighting this weekend, and there’ll no doubt be more classic one-liners to come from the Stockton native, it would only be right to take a look back through Diaz’s funniest on screen moments.
