In the early hours of this morning (UK time) Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul went to war in an eight-round exhibition bout under the watchful eyes of both a sold out Hard Rock Stadium, as well as fans of both boxing and YouTube across the globe.
With such a huge event taking place – arguably the biggest fight within the sweet science for over two years – it comes as no surprise that the internet was well and truly broken when the final bell rang and the dust had settled.
Although the match was a routine win for Mayweather, notching up his already stellar record to 52-0 (inclusive of exhibition bouts) – the world was rocked at the fact that Paul stood in the face of adversity and went toe to toe with the Michigan native for the full distance, despite being caught with some brutal shots and showing major fatigue.
And while many scrutinised the bout as a ‘cash cow’ for the duration, many others chirped up on Twitter to share their feelings towards the contest. You can check out the best below:

Aljamain Sterling considered logistics…
Once it gets to certain point of “skill”, size makes a huge difference. I thought Floyd would get a couple KDs and then the KO. But once they were in there you see the size difference and Paul being able to tie him up once in range with Floyd to use his long arms.
